Flag Signals
Red FlagStop immediately. Serious incident — return to paddock without delay.
Yellow FlagHazard ahead. Reduce speed, no overtaking until green flag.
Green FlagCourse clear. Normal competitive running resumes.
Black FlagDriver identified by car number must report to paddock immediately.
Chequered FlagStage or section complete — your time has been recorded.
Spectator Safety Rules
- Never stand on or cross a live stage route — wait for the official ‘road open’ signal from marshals
- Never chase or follow vehicles during a stage — wait for the vehicles to come to you
- Always stand behind safety barriers, ropes or crowd-control lines
- Do not touch or approach any vehicle during or immediately after a stage
- Children must be supervised at all times — keep them behind you, away from the road
- Persons with mobility challenges: speak to a marshal for an accessible viewing area
Red Flag Procedure
- Stop where you are — do not move toward the course
- If near the road, step back behind the barriers immediately
- Await further instructions from marshals or the PA system
- Remain calm — assist others around you if needed
Do Not Bring
- Glass bottles near stage routes
- Drones — strictly prohibited without written accreditation
- Flares or smoke devices
